The Beau Gregory Damselfish is a hardy and colorful saltwater fish known for its bold personality. Although small in size, this damselfish can be very territorial and is best kept as a single specimen unless housed in a larger aquarium with plenty of space and rockwork.
This species may become the dominant fish in the aquarium, so tankmates should be chosen carefully. Despite its aggressive nature, the Beau Gregory Damselfish is considered reef safe and should not bother corals or most invertebrates.
Commonly found around Caribbean reef areas, this fish is active, alert, and full of attitude. It accepts a wide variety of foods, including meaty frozen foods, herbivore preparations, flakes, and quality marine pellets.
