Blue Scrawled Filefish

The Scrawled Filefish is a hardy and distinctive species best suited for large fish-only aquariums. Native to the Caribbean, it features an elongated body with a tan to yellow-green base color covered in intricate blue lines and spots that resemble hand-drawn scribbles.

This species generally adapts well to aquarium life and will accept a wide variety of prepared and frozen meaty foods. Because it can become large and may show aggression toward similar fish, use caution when housing it with other filefish or closely related species.
