The Caribbean Emerald Crab is a popular and practical addition to saltwater aquariums, valued for its bright green coloration and helpful algae-grazing behavior. Its compact size and active foraging make it a great choice for reef tanks, fish-only systems, and clean-up crews.
Native to Caribbean reefs and rocky coastal areas, Emerald Crabs do best in aquariums with plenty of live rock, crevices, and hiding places. They spend much of their time picking at algae and leftover foods, and are especially known for helping control bubble algae in marine aquariums.
