Zebra Turbo snail

Zebra Turbo Snails are powerful algae grazers that make an excellent addition to larger saltwater and reef aquariums. They are especially useful for controlling hair algae and may also consume certain types of macroalgae and red turf algae.

These hardy snails spend much of their time moving across the rockwork in search of algae. Because they can grow quite large and are stronger than smaller cleanup-crew snails, rock structures should be stable and securely positioned to prevent them from shifting loose pieces.

Zebra Turbo Snails require an established aquarium with a steady supply of algae. When natural food becomes limited, their diet can be supplemented with dried seaweed sheets or other suitable marine algae.
