Rock Beauty

The Rock Beauty Angelfish is a stunning Caribbean angelfish known for its bold contrast and bright coloration. Adults have a mostly black body, especially along the back half, with a vibrant yellow head, front body, and caudal fin. The eyes also feature beautiful sapphire-blue accents that make this fish stand out even more.

Juveniles look different from adults, starting out mostly yellow with a large black spot near the rear of the body. As they mature, the black coloration spreads across much of the body, leaving the head, front section, and tail bright yellow.

In the aquarium, it should be offered a varied diet that includes marine algae, spirulina, finely chopped meaty foods, and high-quality angelfish preparations that contain sponge material.
